David Hancock - Hancock Wildlife Foundation
Sunday, April 05 2009 @ 10:24 AM PDT
David Ingram talks to David Hancock, an old friend, about the work Hancock is doing with the Hancock Wildlife Foundation. From 2006 when Hancock first brought the world the wonders of a live streaming video camera in an eagle nest on Hornby Island, the Foundation has grown to the point where millions of people come to the web site each month and thousands watch the video from various cameras including this season's three nests.
David's foundation was set up to help his tremendous work with bald eagles and other "top of the food chain" predators reliant upon the salmon here on the West coast of North America.
The foundation's most obvious feature is its following for the live streaming eagle nest cameras, starting in 2006 with the Hornby Island eagle nest camera and continuing today with 3 different nests as well as other live wildlife features throughout the year.
